CNA Requirements
Course Length : 7 Weeks
· Candidates/Students must be a legal citizen.
· Candidates/Students must be at least 18 years of age.
· Candidate/Students will be required to have a mandatory. TB skin test within one week of start of class and prior to going to the clinical rotation. If past positive skin test a chest X-ray is required and may be obtained at local health department.
· Candidates/Students must be able to perform all twenty-two performance skills that have been identified through the federal legislation that gives guidance to the Mississippi Nurse Aide Competency.
· Candidates/Students must obtain CPR certification prior to clinical rotation.
· Candidates/Students must complete a fingerprint criminal background check.
· Candidates/Students must adhere to all admission requirements.
· Attendance: Students can only miss a maximum of four (4) hours of class and eight hours (8) of clinical which must be made up. Any absence exceeding this will require the student to drop from the class. Students may not miss the first day of class; make up time will be available for one missed class and clinical.
Pharmacy Technician
Requirements
Course Length : 12 Weeks
· Candidates/Students must be a legal citizen
· Candidates/Students must be at least 18 years of age
· Must have high school diploma or GED
· Candidates/Students must complete a fingerprint criminal background check.
· Candidates/Students must adhere to all admission requirements.
Attendance: Students can only miss a maximum of four (4) hours of class and eight (8) hours of clinicals. Any absence exceeding this will require the student to drop from the class. Students may not miss the first day of class; make up time will be available for one missed class and clinical.

Phlebotomy Workshop
Requirements
Course Length : 7 Weeks
· Candidates/Students must be a legal citizen.
· Candidates/Students must be at least 18 years of age.
· Must have high school diploma or GED
· Students must complete a minimum of 30 venipuncture stick and 10 capillary sticks.
· Candidates/Students must complete a fingerprint criminal background check.
· Candidate must demonstrate the ability to draw blood from patients and blood donors, evaluate patients’ ability to withstand procedure, explain blood-drawing procedure to patients and answer questions, perform basic point of care testing, such as blood glucose levels, prepare blood, urine and other specimens for testing, verify patient/donor identity, and maintain medical equipment such as needles, test tubes and blood vitals.
